EduA11y charges $5 USD per PDF, billed when you submit a document for remediation. There are no subscriptions, so there is nothing recurring to cancel. This policy explains when you can get that charge back.
Full refunds
We refund the full charge for a document if:
- Processing fails and we cannot produce a remediated version of your file. We issue this refund automatically. You do not need to ask.
- You were charged more than once for the same upload.
- The remediated file is unusable, such as being corrupted, missing pages, or failing to open, and we cannot fix it on a re-run.
Quality issues
Automated remediation is not perfect. If tags, reading order, or alt text are wrong in a way that matters for your use, email support@edua11y.org within 30 days of the charge with the file name and what went wrong. We will re-run the document at no cost first. If the result still does not meet your needs, we will refund the charge.
What we do not refund
- Documents that were remediated successfully and that you later decide you do not need.
- Problems that come from the source file itself, such as illegible scans, missing pages, or text that was already wrong in the original. We remediate what is in the document. We do not rewrite or recreate content.
- Requests made more than 30 days after the charge.
Cancelling a job
You can delete an upload from your dashboard at any time. If you delete it before processing has started, the charge is refunded in full. Once processing has started, the job runs to completion and the normal refund rules above apply.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. They typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
